Obituary for Zora Cecil "Ci " Rinard
Zora "Ci" Rinard was born on October 19, 1931 to Dorothy Champ in Winchester, Indiana. He passed away on July 13, 2019 in Security, Colorado.
Ci retired from the US Army in 1970 after 20 years, while stationed at Fort Carson. During his years of service, he received the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Stars.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council 4636 and a member of Cheyenne Mountain VFW Post 3917.
Ci is survived by 4 children; Donna (Thomas) Boatman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Eileen Emrich of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Patti (Tony) Riley of Phoenix, Arizona; Kathy (Steve) Boatman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; wives Mary Rinard (1976) and Esther Rinard (1999) ; grandson, Thomas Boatman, Jr., and great-granddaugher Kaila Boatman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19th, at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85/87, Security, Colorado. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Heart Association.
