Kathleen (Kathy) E. (Irick) Thomas, born February 14,1946 in Pueblo, Colorado, graduated June 4, 1964 from Palmer High School. Following a short illness, Kathy departed this life on January 7, 2019. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Kathy was preceded in death by her brother Michael.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Edward; son Brian Tauscher of Colorado Springs; daughter Monica Tauscher-Baker and her husband Brian Baker; sister Karen Joyner; grandchildren Briana Baker; Brigit Baker; Brandee Baker; Taura Tauscher and Michelle Tauscher, and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy retired from civil service on August 29, 2014 where she worked as a Management Support Assistant. Kathy, as a housewife, followed her husband in the military from station to station. She acted as a baby sitter for her grandchildren. Kathy and her husband were avid campers belonging to the Kissing Camels and Good Luck Sam RV groups.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Deerfield Hills Community Center, 4290 Deerfield Hills Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80916 on Saturday January 26, 2019, at 2:00 P.M.

Kathy was an AVID Bronco fan, please wear your Bronco gear for Kathy's Tailgate Party as a part of her celebration of life.
