Obituary for Bonnie Leigh Lamm

Bonnie Leigh Lamm 76, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8th 2019.

She was an independent ASL (American Sign Language) instructor working with the Pikes Peak Community Center and C.O.D (Center on Deafness). Teaching beginning through advanced courses for those interested in interpreting or for personal gain. Mrs. Lamm was born Jan. 10, 1942 in Rocky Ford to Helen Hatch. Mrs. Lamm graduated from the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind June 2, 1963.

Bonnie was married August 18, 1963 in Colorado Springs to Billy Ray Lamm.

Mrs. Lamm is survived by two sons, Jerry and Simon of Colorado Springs; two daughters Chandra Smith and Rosel Froland of Colorado Springs; two sisters Connie Suto of Rocky Ford, and Vickie Trumble of La Junta. 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Billy Ray Lamm and daughter Cindy Ann Lamm.

Services will be held Monday, January 14th at Sunnyside Christian Church 2025 N. Murray Blvd Colorado Springs CO 80915. Viewing at 10:00 AM, services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim Thurston from Christian Deaf Church of Colorado Springs officiating. Funeral Services provided by Blunt Mortuary.
